I’m Stefano Buliani, an IT contractor in London. I have been writing my musings about technology and management since 2006.
Other than writing here I spend my time working on photography and travelling, as much as possible. My pictures are all published on my flickr account.
The story so far
I was born in Italy and spent most of my life in Milan where I developed a passion for computers while building videogames with a group of friends.
I started my professional career as a contractor in Milan working with a number of companies on java web projects.
In 2005 I moved to London (UK) and decided to start working for startups. I first joined a startup at the University College London (UCL) working on social networks. After about a year I joined Covestor as lead developer.
At Covestor I followed the development of both the website covestor.com and the asset management product (CVIM).
After 4 incredibly exciting and hard years at Covestor I decided to take some time off and enjoy myself for a bit while doing some contracting.
